The duality of forces and unpredictable nature of the elements are the inspiration for this series of works.
I think it is interesting how earth, fire, water and wind have the ability to either create or destroy. Where subtle deviations in their states may result in different outcomes and the impact of these unexpected shifts are not always known. In a way, this too relates to my process of painting.
Colours and the tactile quality of the oil paintings reflect on moods and natural surfaces. While works on papier-mache will be part of the renewal of materials and variation of form.
